Potato Academy scores hatrick with Funny Old Game ! humour range

A new range of humorous photographic birthday cards entitled Funny Old Game ! has been launched by Potato Academy to target the millions of football fans around the UK.

This is the third new range the publisher has announced this year following Marvellous Mummies and The Adventures of Molly and Macy through licensing and resource pooling deals respectively.

The cards take real action football shots from the 60s, 70s and 80s with famous stars from the time – some of who are still in the public eye today.

Each photograph has been carefully selected to enable the creative team at Potato Academy to come up with hilarious captions that include dancing, murder, simulation of a sexual act, sleeping on the job, stolen toupees, shrunken genitals, farting and mini skirts.

The humour is self evident, so even if the purchaser knows nothing about football they will see the funny side of it.

Inside the front cover there is a brief background of the action – players involved and the details of the match - as well as a simple Happy Birthday message on page 3.
